Alan Searle will be our guest speaker on 24 May. Flying a C-47A to China for the Flying Tigers Museum will be his subject. This promises to be an interesting evening. During March Alan returned to China for the opening of the museum.
There will also be a number of aviation books and publications for sale at the meeting. Inspect before the meeting, buy afterwards. Dion says to bring folding money in $5 denominations.
Melbourne Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the RAAF Association, 24 Camberwell Rd, Hawthorn East, in the auditorium. Parking is available under the building . enter from the lane at the south end. The meetings start at 7.30pm – ring the bell if the front door is shut.
