The last revenue flight by a Convair Metropolitan aircraft of Airlines of South Australia was made on 12th February 1972. VH-BZF made the last passenger service for ASA Flights GJ1102/1101 Adelaide/Kingscote/Adelaide. The aircraft left Adelaide at 1115 arriving at Kingscote at 1145. After a stay of about three hours the aircraft turned around and flew back in 25 minutes. The Captain was Arnold Deed.
